Karina Y. Camacho Ojeda
Ms. Camacho's practice has focused on the areas of corporate finance, securities, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, secured transactions and general corporate matters. She also has experience in project financings in emerging markets, mainly in the oil and gas and mining industries in Latin America.
Before joining McConnell Valdés, Ms. Camacho was an Associate at Sullivan and Cromwell LLP. In the corporate finance and securities area, Ms. Camacho represents private and public companies in corporate, corporate governance and United States federal securities law matters. She has represented foreign issuers and underwriters in multiple securities offerings, including sovereign offerings, unregistered and registered debt offerings, equity offerings and private placements for corporations and financial institutions.
In the mergers and acquisitions area, Karina has participated in several transactions, representing sellers through various stages of stock and asset sales in connection with strategic acquisitions and divestitures.
