Manuel Moreda-Toledo
His practice includes commercial, tort, insurance, admiralty and focuses on drug and medical device products liability litigation including toxic tort litigation. His toxic tort work has included Foamglas, herbicide, and workplace chemical in a variety of chemical injury claims. He has acted or currently acts as lead state coordinating counsel in the Vioxx, Baycol and Levaquin Product Liability Litigations and has represented major pharmaceutical companies in oral contraceptive and cholesterol lowering drug claims.
In his over 30 years of litigation experience, Manuel has also tried many cases outside the area of drug and medical device products liability litigation including automobile and aircraft product liability litigation, complex commercial and contract, wills, personal injuries, medical malpractice, insurance and admiralty.
Manuel has tried and argued many cases before the U.S. District Court for the Puerto Rico District and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico courts. He has argued several times before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
