María Cristina Mena 

Ms. Mena has practiced in the areas of general corporate, banking and financial institutions, mergers and acquisitions, mortgage, public and private financings and securities law, as well as transactional matters prior to, during and since she worked as legal counsel to a publicly-traded bank holding company. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Mena worked as a commercial credit analyst for a bank in Los Angeles, CA.

Ms. Mena has provided legal advice on various corporate acquisitions in areas such as tourism, pharmaceutical, educational, telecommunications and retail. She has worked in a wide range of corporate transactions, including commercial real estate, securities offerings, warehousing lines of credit, mortgage servicing rights, loan participations, asset securitizations and mortgage loan sales, pooling and servicing agreements. She has counseled in sophisticated banking and securities regulatory issues. She has also counseled on matters related to preparation and analysis of distribution and sales representation agreements.
