María Antongiorgi-Jordán
Ms. Antongiorgi-Jordán's practice includes general employment law and immigration consulting, concentrating her experience in the litigation of employment discrimination issues, such as the American with Disabilities Act, Title VII, ADEA, Wage and Hour claims, growing, unjust dismissal and all other types of employment discrimination. Ms. Antongiorgi has been the Chairperson of the Litigation Committee of the Labor and Employment Law Practice Group since June 2002.
She has lectured on various topics for the National Business Institute, the Society for Human Resources Management, the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law, as well as for clients of the firm.
Ms. Antongiorgi-Jordán has litigated extensively in local and federal courts in cases dealing with all types of employment discrimination, wage and hour, gowning and unjust dismissal.
Ms. Antongiorgi-Jordán wrote her LLM dissertation on "AIDS and Employment Discrimination". She has also contributed with several newspaper articles relating to labor and employment issues.
