Silvestre M. Miranda
He joined the firm as a partner in June of 1996, as a result of a merger between the firm and Ledesma, Palou & Miranda. Mr. Miranda was a member of the Firm's Policy Committee.
Mr. Miranda has been involved in the structuring, financing and development of complex residential, tourism and mixed use real estate developments as well as in the development, financing and construction of most major hotels in Puerto Rico. Likewise Mr. Miranda has an extensive practice in corporate and commercial finance matters. Mr. Miranda specializes in commercial law, real estate and general corporate law.
Mr. Miranda was involved in the refurbishment and re-launching of the Hotel San Juan, the Sands Hotel, and the Courtyard in Isla Verde, Puerto Rico, the Hostal El Convento in Old San Juan, the Condado Plaza Hotel and Casino, the La Concha Renaissance Resort and the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel in el Condado, San Juan, Puerto Rico, the Matineau Bay Hotel in Vieques, Puerto Rico, and El Conquistador Resort and Country Club and Las Casitas Resort in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. Mr. Miranda has also represented various commercial banks in real estate and commercial loans.
