Yarilyn C. Pérez
Mrs. Pérez-Colón practices primarily in the areas of creditors' rights, bankruptcy, workouts, and commercial litigation in both state and federal courts. She has represented secured creditors and debtors in possession various Chapter 7, 11 and 13 Bankruptcy cases.
Before joining McConnell Valdés, Mrs. Pérez-Colón worked as a Law Clerk to Hon. Judge Juan M. Pérez-Giménez at the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. Prior to that, she practiced with O'Neill & Borges, concentrating in bankruptcy, creditor's rights and commercial lending litigation.
