Dennise N. Longo Quiñones is an Associate in the Real Estate and Commercial Finance Practice Group.
Practice Areas
Ms. Longo's main areas of practice include commercial finance, real estate, mortgage law and property registry issues, UCC secured transactions, corporate law and business consulting.
Experience
Before joining McConnell Valdés, Ms. Longo counseled clients in Orlando, Florida on matters regarding the purchase and sale of businesses, real estate transactions, estate planning, and probate litigation. During her career as a corporate attorney in Puerto Rico, she has advised multinational companies, several major telecommunications companies entering the Puerto Rico market, clients in securities transactions, clients defending civil proceedings before federal and local courts, and government agencies. In this role she has drafted and negotiated multiple multimillion dollar agreements, legal motions and memoranda, as well as prepared government license applications.
From 1998 to 2000, Ms. Longo served as Special Assistant to the Attorney General of Puerto Rico and managed the Puerto Rico government's defense in several institutional and class action cases in the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico.
Education
Ms. Longo graduated from Brown University (BA, 1989) and received her law degree from the George Washington University National Law Center (JD, 1993).

Ms. Longo is admitted to the practice of law in Maryland (1993), Puerto Rico (1996), and Florida (2006). She is also a licensed notary public.
