Francisco A. Vargas is an Income Member in the Labor and Employment Law Practice Group.

Practice Areas

Mr. Vargas provides counseling in various labor and employment law matters including family and medical leave issues, wages and hours, workers compensation, reasonable accommodations, union representation and occupational health and safety issues. Mr. Vargas also litigates employment discrimination, unfair dismissals, employment arbitration and employee benefits cases, among others.

Education

He obtained a Bachelor Degree in Economics, magna cum laude, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico. He also obtained a Masters in Law Degree from Georgetown University Law Center concentrating in Labor and Employment Law.

Admissions

Mr. Vargas is admitted to practice before the courts of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He is also a Notary Public.

Mr. Vargas is a member of the Puerto Rico Bar Association and the American Bar Association, Section of Labor and Employment Law.
