Heriberto López-Guzmán is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group.

Practice Areas

Mr. López-Guzmán's main areas of practice include general civil and commercial litigation in both state and federal courts, as well as administrative litigation. Before joining McConnell Valdés, Mr. López-Guzmán worked as a Summer Associate at Fiddler González & Rodríguez, PSC., during the summers of 2004 and 2005. Mr. López-Guzmán also worked as an intern associate auditor at Deloitte & Touche, LLP (Puerto Rico office).

Education

Mr. López-Guzmán obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus in 2002 and a Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2006.

Admissions

Mr. López-Guzmán is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.  He is a Certified Public Accountant and a registered Notary Public.

Mr. López-Guzmán is a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society, the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Puerto Rico Bar Association.
