Liz Annette Pérez-Rosario is an Associate in the Tax Practice Group.

Practice Areas

Ms. Pérez-Rosario's main areas of practice include corporate tax, tax incentives laws and general income, property, excise and municipal license taxes related to state and federal tax laws. Before joining McConnell Valdés, she was a tax associate in the Tax Department of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Education

Ms. Pérez-Rosario obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Puerto Rico in 2000, and a Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2005. Ms. Pérez-Rosario served as a student clerk for the Hon. Rafael Martnez Torres of the Court of Appeals of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico during the academic semester of 2002-2003.

Admissions

Ms. Pérez-Rosario is a Certified Public Accountant and a registered Notary Public. She is a member of the Regulations Committee of the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants since 2006. Ms. Pérez-Rosario is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.

Memberships

Ms. Pérez-Rosario is a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society and a volunteer of the XXIII Interamerican Accounting Conference. In 2002-2003 Ms. Pérez-Rosario obtained the recognition of Who's Who among students in American Universities and Colleges.
