Omar Oquendo-Claudio is an Associate in the Litigation Practice Group.

Practice Areas

Mr. Oquendo-Claudio's practice includes general civil and commercial litigation in State, Federal and Administrative forums, with emphasis on contractual disputes, consumer finance litigation, creditors' rights, intellectual property, torts, construction law and antitrust law.

Education

Mr. Oquendo-Claudio obtained a Bachelor in Business Administration, cum laude, from the University of Puerto Rico, Bayamón Campus and a juris doctor from the University of Puerto Rico, magna cum laude, where he was awarded the Penal Law Medal and served as Editor-in-Chief of the University of Puerto Rico Law Review. He also earned a Masters of Laws Degree from Harvard Law School. He clerked for the Hon. Jaime B. Fuster Berlingeri, Associate Justice of the Puerto Rico Supreme Court.

Admissions

He is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico and the State of Florida.

Mr. Oquendo is a member of the Puerto Rico Bar Association and the Florida Bar.
