Pedro Friederick Meléndez-Arreaga is an Associate in the Environmental and Land Use Practice Group.

Practice Areas

Mr. Meléndez-Arreaga main practice area is environmental, focusing primarily on pollution abatement, land use and environmental permitting matters, enforcement and compliance of environmental statutory and regulatory requirements, and the environmental implications of business transactions.

Education and Experience

Mr. Meléndez-Arreaga earned a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Puerto Rico – Mayagüez Campus in 2004, and a Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from the Inter American University School of Law in 2007. Mr. Meléndez-Arreaga completed his Masters of Studies in Environmental Law, Cum Laude, from Vermont Law School in 2007. While completing his Juris Doctor, Mr. Meléndez-Arreaga served as a student clerk for the Hon. Ivonne Díaz-Pérez of the San Juan Superior Court of Puerto Rico in the 2005-2006 academic year. Mr. Meléndez-Arreaga is also a graduate from the 2005 Global Village for Future Leaders of Business and Industry program
