This practice team is comprised of a dedicated group of attorneys with experience in areas critical to the private and public construction business. Our attorneys offer litigation advise and support to numerous construction industry clients, including architects, contractors and subcontractors, engineers, developers, owners, and lenders, in connection with federal and state court cases, mediation and arbitration disputes. They also advise clients on numerous non-litigation aspects of the construction industry, including contract bidding, drafting and negotiation, closings, advice regarding performance under contracts, environmental concerns and compliance, planning and zoning applications, and bond and insurance claims.
The Construction Practice Team is comprised of attorneys from the litigation, corporate, labor, and taxes practice groups who have worked extensively with construction industry clients. The attorneys in the Construction Practice Team have provided litigation counsel in numerous high-profile construction disputes, including the Super-Aqueduct litigation and the Urban Train litigation, two of the most recent high profile public construction cases in Puerto Rico.
