In this respect, the McConnell Valdés Environmental, Energy and Land Use Practice Group provides legal counsel in all environmental, energy and land use aspects of domestic and international corporate transactions, project permitting and regulatory representation, environmental litigation, legislative and rulemaking affairs, among others.

This Practice Group also has a thorough understanding and years of experience in all aspects of zoning and planning laws and regulations promulgated by Puerto Rico's central and municipal governments, as well as the United States government. Our representation covers location approvals, construction permitting and re-zoning procedures. This Practice Group also provides legal services in all phases of administrative procedures, including litigation and appeals, in the local and federal civil and administrative fora. We regularly advise clients on relevant statutory, regulatory, and case law developments in environmental, energy and land use and zoning, natural resource management, planning and construction permitting issues.
