Our Corporate Practice Group represents entities and individuals in a wide variety of commercial and financial transactions in Puerto Rico. We also counsel our clients in all areas of law related to doing business in Puerto Rico, always seeking to add value with our advice. Our goal is to be regarded as partners in our client's business endeavors. To accomplish this goal, we have more than thirty fully-bilingual corporate attorneys with an ample range of expertise and experience.

Our wide range of practice areas allows our attorneys to combine the firm's extensive experience in corporate matters and transactional skills in virtually every type of commercial business transaction. We counsel our clients on highly sophisticated regulatory matters that may have a significant impact on their business, and work closely with them in structuring, negotiating and executing their deals and strategies.

We are proud of our role in the development of Puerto Rico's business culture, and of our expertise in handling complex areas such as Mergers & Acquisitions, Trust and Estates, and Government Affairs. For example, McConnell Valdés has participated in most of the major corporate mergers and acquisitions effected in Puerto Rico, recently including the acquisition of El Mundo Broadcasting (WKAQ) by Univision Radio, Inc. and the financing of the acquisition of Suiza Dairy and its affiliates by Grupo Gloria, S.A., of Perú.
