Her areas of practice include real estate, hospitality and corporate law.  From 2004 to 2008 she was an Associate at the firm and a Consultant of McConnell Valdés Consulting, an affiliate of the firm engaged in real estate and hospitality advisory services.

Before rejoining the firm, she worked as General Legal Counsel for the Development Agent of the Subway® brand for the territory of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.  She counseled the Development Agent in corporate, administrative, real estate and labor law matters and regulatory and compliance issues.  She also served as the liaison between the Development Agent’s office and the Subway® Franchise World Headquarters Legal Department, working with Subway® Franchise World Headquarters in-house attorneys on leasing and franchise compliance issues.   

Ms. Negrón also served as Director of the Legal Division of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company, Legal Counsel to the Puerto Rico Convention Center District Authority and Secretary of the Boards of Directors of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company, the Hotel Development Corporation and the Puerto Rico Convention Center District Authority.    She was also in charge of overseeing the Incentives and Investments Division of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company.  While at the Puerto Rico Tourism Company, she participated in the drafting of legislation related to the tourism industry and the negotiation and drafting of an air access incentives agreement with an international commercial airline.

Before entering law school, she worked at the Puerto Rico Tourism Company, first as a Hotel Project Financial Analyst, later as Special Aide to the Deputy Executive Director for Planning and Development.  She was involved in analyzing the feasibility of hotel projects requesting financing from the Government Development Bank, the Economic Development Bank and other private banking institutions.  She was also involved in the evaluation of applications for tax incentives under the Puerto Rico Tourism Development Act, particularly in the analysis of the financial information submitted by developers and the computation of investment tax credits.
