His practice involves corporate law and governance, mergers and acquisitions, public finance, banking and financial services, real estate, regulatory matters and government affairs.
Prior to joining McConnell Valdés, Mr. Parrilla-Carbia served in the Puerto Rico House of Representatives and in the Central Panel of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico. He then clerked for the Honorable German Brau Ramírez, in the Puerto Rico Court of Appeals.
In law school, Mr. Parrilla-Carbia served as Associate Director and member of the Board in the University of Puerto Rico Law Review and published two articles: Full Faith Bonds and Revenue Bonds in Puerto Rico, 82 Rev. Jur. UPR 121 (2013) and Term Analysis of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico: Contracts and Law of Obligations, 82 Rev. Jur. UPR 479 (2013).
