Pro Bono Program offers seminar about advocacy, lobbying, and political activities

McV News

McV attorneys Lillian Toro-Mojica and Helen A. Salichs , members of our Pro Bono Program, offered a seminar on “Advocacy, Lobbying, and Political Activities: What’s Permitted and Prohibited” to representatives of over 60 Puerto Rico-based nonprofit organizations. The event, held at the offices of Fundación Banco Popular in Hato Rey, was organized by the Coalición Legal Para Puerto Rico and the Hispanic Federation.

This seminar is part of McConnell Valdés Pro Bono Program’s outreach to help nonprofit organizations with their governance, compliance, and other legal matters.
