Biography
Her main area of practice includes general corporate matters and real estate law.
Prior to joining McV, she worked as a paralegal at a law firm concentrating on property law, contracts and condominium matters.
Ms. Hernández-Muñoz earned the highest score on the September 2025 Puerto Rico Bar Examination from a pool of 506 examinees. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, where she graduated with the highest GPA of his class in criminal law courses. She was recognized for this academic distinction by the Puerto Rican Bar Association (Colegio de Abogados y Abogadas), which awarded her the Benicio Sánchez Castaño Award.
During law school she demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence and public service. She served as a Research Assistant to Professor Mayté Rivera Rodríguez, where she focused on areas related to Family Law and Legal Ethics. She was also an Associate Editor of the University of Puerto Rico Law Review, was part of the Civil Litigation Legal Aid Clinic, and founded the Racial Justice Pro Bono. Additionally, she gained experience as a summer intern at the Puerto Rico Court of Appeals and as a spring intern with a nonprofit organization focused on civil rights.
