Welcome to the McConnell Valdés LLC website (the "McV Site"). This site is operated by McConnell Valdés LLC ("McV"), a limited liability company with offices in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Please read this privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") carefully before using the McV Site. By using the McV Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, you must immediately discontinue and refrain from accessing or using the McV Site. Any access to or continued use of the McV Site shall constitute your full acknowledgement and affirmative agreement to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, as it may be amended from time to time.
McV, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
The McV Site may automatically collect certain technical and usage information through various technological means, including but not limited to cookies, web beacons, server logs, and Internet Protocol ("IP") address tracking ("Activity Information"). Such Activity Information is collected and utilized exclusively for McV's internal operational, analytical, and administrative purposes.
The McV Site has been designed to permit general browsing without requiring the disclosure of personally identifiable information ("PII"). However, certain designated areas or functionalities of the McV Site may require or permit the voluntary submission of PII. Any information voluntarily provided by users shall be processed and utilized solely for the specific purposes for which such information was originally submitted and collected.
McV may, in its discretion, share user PII with carefully selected third-party service providers who perform services on behalf of McV, including but not limited to communications management, database administration, event coordination, web hosting, direct mail services, and marketing support services. While McV has implemented and maintains reasonable technical, administrative, and physical security measures designed to protect against unauthorized access, improper disclosure, and unlawful interception of user PII, McV cannot and does not guarantee absolute security or complete confidentiality of such information. Users acknowledge and accept that the transmission and storage of information via the Internet inherently involves certain security risks that cannot be entirely eliminated, and McV expressly disclaims liability for any unauthorized disclosure that may occur despite its reasonable security efforts.
McV shall utilize such PII for the specific purpose for which it was collected, as well as for additional purposes to which the user has provided express consent. Registered users may receive communications regarding client alerts, events, and other relevant materials or activities. Users may discontinue receipt of such direct marketing communications by submitting an opt-out request to webmaster@mcvpr.com.
USE OF COOKIES
The McV Site employs cookies (small data files containing identifying code that are stored within the user's web browser or local storage device) to differentiate individual users from other McV Site visitors. The implementation of such cookies enables McV to enhance user experience during Site navigation and to facilitate ongoing Site optimization and improvement.
DO NOT TRACK REQUESTS
The McV Site does not currently respond or otherwise take any action with regards to “Do Not Track” requests.
TRANSFERS OF PII
McV reserves the right to disclose aggregated, non-PII and any information that does not identify specific individuals without limitation or restriction.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
McV does not knowingly collect, utilize, or disclose personal information from minors under thirteen (13) years of age. In the event that McV becomes aware that it has inadvertently collected personal information from a child under thirteen (13) years of age in a manner inconsistent with the requirements of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"), McV shall promptly delete such information upon discovery and take appropriate measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
