The McConnel Valdés/Antonio Escudero Viera Scholarship, administered by the Puerto Rico Community Foundation (FCPR), seeks to support talented students at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus School of Law, who demonstrate a strong commitment to social justice. The fund will offer scholarships of up to $5,000 per student, providing supplemental financial aid to law students who demonstrate academic commitment, leadership, and community service.
- Be a 2nd or 3rd year day student or a 3rd or 4th year evening student at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus School of Law.
- Have a GPA of 3.00 or higher in both undergraduate and law school.
- Be bilingual.
- Be a permanent resident of Puerto Rico.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Demonstrate leadership and community volunteerism.
- Be available for an interview.
