Alfredo Hopgood-Jovet, Chairman of the Labor & Employment Law Practice Group, and Sonia Montes, President of the Puerto Rico Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-PR), informed at a news conference that SHRM-PR presented the organization´s recommendations for changes to labor laws to government officials developing a five year fiscal stabilization plan for Puerto Rico.
The recommendations, developed to reflect the Island’s economic reality, aim to promote economic growth, and increased efficiency and productivity in the workforce.
