Rudy was one of the architects of modern McConnell Valdés, having worked at the Firm for almost 50 years. He was passionate about everything he did in life, including his commitment and dedication to the Firm, its clients and co-workers, which left deep and lasting impressions on all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
He joined the Firm in 1967 as a law clerk. In 1969 he became a Labor & Employment Law associate, and in 1974 he became a partner. He later chaired the Labor & Employment Law Practice, and served on the Firm's Executive, Policy and Practice Management Committees.
He once said "life goes on with or without us." But life without him will not be the same for those of us who survive him. We will always remember him with great affection, and his legacy will endure in the hearts and minds of all attorneys and employees of McConnell Valdés.
