Jorge Rexach-Vaquer focuses his practice in corporate and real estate transactions and commercial lending.
Jorge has extensive experience in assets sale and acquisition transactions, project development and finance, structured finance, real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions and stock purchase transactions.
He regularly counsels Puerto Rico and United States financial institutions in the areas of commercial lending, real estate financing and asset-backed financing. He also counsels financial institutions in the development and refinancing of hotels and low-income housing projects in Puerto Rico.
His vast experience includes acting as lender’s counsel in the acquisition of residential mortgage loan portfolios, the refinancing of fast-food restaurant franchises, the acquisition and refinancing of shopping centers, the refinancing of hotel projects and the acquisition and development of multifamily residential projects. Jorge has also acted as counsel to corporate clients in complex sale and acquisition transactions and as seller’s counsel in the sale of a warehouse real estate properties portfolio in Puerto Rico.
