Executive Order 2020-076 Extends Effectiveness of EO 2020-066 for an Additional Term

On October 1st, 2020, Governor Wanda Vázquez-Garced signed Executive Order 2020-076 (“EO 2020-076”) to amend Executive Order No. 2020-066 (the “Previous Executive Order”) to extend the curfew and the effectiveness of the Previous Executive Order an additional two weeks, among other matters.

Extension of Curfew

The curfew from 10:00pm until 5:00am set forth in EO 2020-044 continues in effect until October 16, 2020.

Section 1 of EO 2020-076 also provides that citizens must limit their participation in social activities and family gatherings held in public and private spaces.

Effectiveness

EO 2020-076 provides that the Previous Executive Order will continue in effect until October 16, 2020, unless otherwise modified.
