Dora Peñagarícano participates in U.S. Customs and Border Protection's Counterfeit News Conference

During a news conference sponsored by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) San Juan Field Office, McV attorney Dora Peñagarícano, one of Puerto Rico’s  top IP attorneys, explained the penalties that counterfeiters face for violating copyrighted work, how to identify counterfeit items, and the harmful effects of buying such items. The news conference was geared towards creating consumer awareness and stopping the flow of counterfeit products - a priority trade issue for CBP - during the Valentine’s Day holiday.
