PR Department of State Extends Deadlines for Filing Corporate Annual Reports, Payment of LLC Annual Fees and Extension Requests

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 emergency, the Secretary of State issued Administrative Order No. 2021-02 (“AO 2021-02”) to extend the filing deadlines for corporations’ annual reports and limited liability companies’ annual fee forms until May 17, 2021.

AO 2021-02 also modifies the filing extension requirements for annual reports as follows:

First Extension:

  • Deadline: May 17, 2021
  • Extension period: May 17, 2021 – July 19, 2021
  • Requirements: Pay $150.00 for annual fees and request the extension online.

Second Extension:

  • Deadline: July 19, 2021
  • Extension period: July 19, 2021 – September 20, 2021
  • Requirements: Having requested the first extension and submitting a $30.00 payment.
