PREB Seeks Feedback on Microgrid Development Regulation

On October 11, 2023, the Puerto Rico Energy Bureau (the “PREB”) issued a Resolution and Order calling on stakeholders and the general public to provide feedback and informal comments on potential revisions to Regulation 9028 of May 18, 2018, known as the Regulation on Microgrid Development of the Puerto Rico Energy Bureau. This informal procedure may be followed by a formal rulemaking process pursuant to Act No. 38-2017, known as the Government of Puerto Rico Uniform Administrative Procedures Act. 

Comments must be filed on or before November 11, 2023, through any of the following means:

  • By email to the following address: comentarios@jrsp.pr.gov
  • Online, using the Energy Bureau's Electronic Filing System, at the following address: https://radicacion.energia.pr.gov.
  • By postal mail addressed to the Puerto Rico Energy Bureau's Clerk's Office, at World Plaza Building, 268 Muñoz Rivera Ave., Suite 202, San Juan, PR 00918; or
  • In person at the Energy Bureau's Clerk's Office, located at the address set forth above.
